Our coaches at SFC New England are very excited to begin the spring season! It has been a successful winter with our technical and physical training. Our players got lots of touches on the ball and also worked hard on the physical components of the game. The MBSC staff has done a great job working with our players on speed and agility, injury prevention, and strength and conditioning. Most teams participated in indoor competitive leagues and a tournament in March that were also very good for our players’ development. We want to continue to build on the work from this winter and move from strength to strength into the spring season!
I would like to remind our families about the parent code of conduct. We very much appreciate the enthusiasm and cheering from the sidelines from parents and families. But I would like to remind you that any negative comments coming from the sidelines will not be tolerated. Please do not shout any negative comments to the referees, to the opposing players or parents, or our SFC players or staff. Also please refrain from any sort of coaching from the sidelines as it will confuse our players.
We thank you for your support of our club. It’s an exciting time for SFC as we continue to improve our facilities and our staff. We look forward to improving throughout the spring season and watching our kids have fun and compete. We want your children to have a very positive experience with SFC and you as parents play a big role in that mission. I look forward to seeing you on the sidelines soon!
Regards,
Gary Crompton-Director of Coaching
