| SFC Winter Skills Academy |
| The SFC Winter Skills Academy is an exclusive 3 day clinic for elite club players and accomplished town players who are interested in improving their game. With a focus on training, technical, physical and soccer IQ aspects of the game, the sessions will include age-appropriate activities that will fine tune technique, tactics, and the physical part of your game! We will also do some educational sessions using video to help improve players “soccer IQ” and tactical understanding of the game. Players will be grouped by level of play. |
| SFC Jr. Academy |
| The SFC Junior Academy is a program teaches and develops key fundamental soccer skills. The age specific curriculum is designed to be both fun and instructional, aimed at both developing key skills and inspiring a love and enthusiasm for the game. The Junior Academy serves to help maximize individual player development by using repetition that creates muscle memory of key techniques that form the building blocks of all developing soccer players. |
| U8-U10 Ball Mastery Clinic |
| The SFC U8-U10 Ball Mastery Clinic is designed for the more serious younger player who has shown an interest and aptitude for the game. This clinic will emphasize controlling the ball with all surfaces of both feet. With hard work this clinic will dramatically improve the comfort level of players with the ball. This ball mastery and control is an essential ingredient for skilled players. Our goal is to have the players touch the ball 1000 times per session. The players will move through a 6 week skill progression that greatly improves there passing, dribbling, shooting and defending. The sessions, led by current SFC Coaches, will give your child an introduction to our club, our developmental model for success and provide an excellent foundation of skills. |
| U11-U14 Ball Mastery Clinic |
| The SFC U11-U14 Ball Mastery Clinic is designed to introduce serious soccer players to other aspects of training important to becoming the best soccer player they can be. This clinic will emphasize beating players in 1v1 duals with quick technical moves and improved athleticism and agility to get behind your opponent. Sessions focus on improving individual skills, including dribbling, moves, change of direction, and mobility to increase player's confidence on the ball. Each player receives expert technical instruction from SFC coaches. |
| SFC Jr Academy - Pre-K Soccer (Ages 3-5) |
| The SFC Jr Academy Pre-K Soccer program is for children ages 3, 4 and 5 and is offered during the winter. This program introduces the sport of soccer to the youngest of players and teach the basics of the game, in a fun, non-competitive environment. Pre-K Soccer is led by SFC Girls Director Doug Garlow and other members of the SFC staff. We are unable to accept players who are not age 3 by the start of the program. |
